Ozark Amateur Champions
The Ozark Amateur is known widely as the oldest individual-play golf tournament west of the Mississippi River. The tournament has been played at Shifferdecker golf course in Joplin, MO since 1922. Originally known as the Tri-State Amateur until 1959. Herman Keiser, the 1946 Masters winner, won the tournament in 1934.
